Hill AFB – “Another Round of Base Closures? And Falcon Hill Update”
We are very fortunate to have Rick Mayfield, Executive Director of the state’s Military Installation Development Authority (MIDA), confirmed to speak to us on these important issues. He’ll cover Hill AFB consideration for closure issue with a detailed presentation of the BRAC process, timeline, and he’ll give a “crystal ball” analysis of Hill’s position in the latest round of base closures. He’ll also give us an update on Hill’s 550 acre Falcon Hill Aerospace Research Project covering the project’s progress, goals and future outlook that will affect our community.
